ATCO - PRINTED INFORMATION AT BUS STOPS - Interim Good Practice Guidelines - Published November 2004
These interim Guidelines relate to printed information at bus stops, recognising that despite the large interest in real time information at stops there is still an important role for printed information.  This timely document distils the views of ATCO members working in the information field and makes reference to other relevant published documents.  It also recognises the need for further research to fully test the usability of particular types of layout and content, so that a definitive Code of Good Practice can then be produced.

Developed in collaboration with the Confederation of Passenger Transport UK (CPT), the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC), the London Transport Users’ Committee (LTUC) and the Disabled Person Transport Advisory Committee (DPTAC), this is a Code of Good Practice relating to timetable books, leaflets, maps and other printed information about bus and tram services.
